Kayaking in the Seychelles

DRIFT AWAY ON THE CRYSTAL CLEAR WATERS OF THE SEYCHELLES!

The Seychelles has been described as "a string of pearls set in the azure waters of the Indian ocean."

In fact, it is a perfect sea kayaking destination because there are so many islands in close proximity to one another. By kayaking from island to island, kayakers are able to see lots of different landmarks and small and discover hidden coves that are not always accessible to the average tourist.

Local beaches are among the best in the world – secluded, quiet, and simply amazingly beautiful. Sea kayaking is environmentally friendly and appeals to all those who enjoy open spaces, salt air and the feeling of being at one with nature. The only disturbance you bring is the sound of a paddle and the ripple of the water you float in; a sea kayaking removes you entirely from modern life and immerses you in the wilderness.

Kayaking is historically one of the earliest forms of paddling, with archaeological evidence suggesting highly developed craft were paddled by skilled hunter-fishermen as far back as 500 BC.

Most of kayaking experiences require no previous experience at all and are entirely accessible to beginners.

We will provide kayaks, and don’t forget to bring sea sandals or shoes, mask and snorkels as wells as sun cream.

And be prepared to be joined by dolphins, turtles or one of many other marine life!
