Seychelles Beaches

The Seychelles are home to some of the most idyllic beaches in the world.  With the softest white sand, the most turquoise of seas and the lushest green backdrops, the Seychelles are a true paradise!

MAHÉ

On the island of Mahé there are many soft white Seychelles beaches where you can relax and enjoy the sun and natural environment. Some of the secluded beaches you could almost call your ‘own’.

According to popularity, Beau Vallon is the king of beaches. This two mile stretch of white sand and crystal clear swimming water offers watersports, chartered diving, and deep-sea fishing facilities. It’s the easiest of the Seychelles beaches to get to, and it offers the most beach facilities, making it great for families.

Others famous Seychelles beaches include:

  • The Anse Royale, which is the longest beach on Mahé and is well sheltered from any choppy seas.
  • Port Launay, on the west side of the island, is a safe and comfortable swimming haven and one of the most beautiful beaches on Mahé.
  • Anse Intendance, on the southwest side of Mahé, one of the most beautiful and unspoilt of the Seychelles beaches.
  • Anse Takamaka, is a 2km long white sandy Seychelles beach, great for swimming and with an authentic restaurant serving local curries, grilled fresh fish and of course cocktails!

CERF ISLAND

Here you will find some of the most beautiful, breath-taking, and immaculate Seychelles beaches in the Sainte Anne Marine National Park.  The island actually lies within the Sainte Anne Marine National Park, a coral atoll housing six main islands, and is an important part of the natural and cultural heritage of the Seychellois people.  The Park offers exceptional marine life, with more than 150 species of reef fish, crabs, sea urchins, starfish, octopus and many more, so there’s plenty to gaze at through your goggles.

If you’re planning on visiting the Seychelles to see some of these stunning beaches for yourself then South Point Villas are a great choice.  There are plenty of beaches which are within 100 meters walking distance from our villas.  Our kayaks can also be used to reach beaches less than five minutes away. We do however recommend you bring some sea/diving shoes with you because swimming/snorkelling or walking is lots of fun, but you really don't want to stand on anything accidentally with bare feet!

Our kayaks are available for free for guests to use at any time.  Alternatively, if you would like to visit any of the Mahé beaches our manager can easily arrange boat transfer and taxi for a reasonable surcharge.

Book now and explore the wonderful beaches of the Seychelles for yourself.  Find your very own patch of perfect white sand, enjoy a picnic under the shade of a coconut tree – and just chill!
